How long does it take to build a shed?
Most standard sheds up to 12x16 are completed in a single day. Larger builds like a 16x24 may take 2 days. We build on-site at your property — no delivery truck, no crane, no torn-down fences. Just us, our tools, and your new shed by the end of the day.
Do I need a permit for a shed in Indianapolis?
In most Indianapolis-area communities, sheds under 200 square feet don't require a building permit. For larger structures, requirements vary by city and county. Many neighborhoods also have HOA guidelines for shed placement, size, and appearance. What materials do you use?
Every shed starts with treated 2x6 floor joists spaced 16 inches on center — not 2x4s like most builders. On top goes 3/4-inch Advantech weather-resistant plywood for a rock-solid floor. Walls are framed with LP SmartSide engineered wood siding, which resists rot, termites, and fungal decay. We finish with architectural shingles and use Tuff Block foundations that require no concrete. Everything we use is built to last 25+ years.
