Tips to Prepare for Your Shed Move
Empty the Shed Completely
Remove all contents, shelving, and anything mounted to the walls. The shed must be empty for a safe move.
Clear the Path
Trim branches, remove obstacles, and make sure there's a clear route from the current spot to the new location (or to the street).
Check for Utilities
If the shed has electrical wiring, have an electrician disconnect it before moving day. Check for underground utilities at the new spot.
Prep the New Location
Make sure the new site is level, clear of debris, and accessible for equipment. We'll handle leveling once we place the shed.

How much does it cost to move a shed?

Can you move a shed to a different property?
Yes — we move sheds both on the same property (across the yard, different corner, etc.) and to completely different addresses. For longer moves, the shed is loaded onto a specialized trailer and transported on public roads.
What equipment do you use?
We use specialized shed-moving equipment including customized trucks, flatbed trailers with winch systems, and leveling tools. The specific equipment depends on the shed size, weight, and terrain at both locations.
How big of a shed can you move?
We can move most standard residential sheds and mini barns. Very large structures (over 14 feet wide) may require special permitting for road transport. Call us with your dimensions and we'll let you know what's possible.
Do I need to empty the shed first?
Yes — the shed must be completely empty before moving day. This protects your belongings and reduces the weight, making the move safer for the structure.
