CUSTOM BUILT SHEDS

Why Choose a Metal Shed Over Wood Siding?
Our metal sheds use the same wood-framed construction, LP SmartSide subflooring, and build quality as our traditional sheds — the only difference is the exterior. Metal siding and metal roofing mean zero painting, zero rot, and zero maintenance. Same shed. Tougher skin.
Zero Maintenance
No painting, no staining, no rotting trim. Metal exterior shrugs off Indiana rain, snow, sun, and humidity. It looks the same in year 10 as it does in year one.
Lower Cost
Metal siding and roofing cost less than LP SmartSide and architectural shingles. You get the same quality framing and structure at a lower price point.
Same Construction Quality
Wood-framed walls, Advantech subflooring, proper structural framing. The only change is what goes on the outside. The bones are identical to our premium wood sheds.
Color Options
Choose from a range of metal colors to match your home or fence. Wainscoting and two-tone combinations available for a custom look.
Built in a Day
Just like our wood sheds, most metal sheds are built on-site in a single day. We show up with materials, build it, and you're using it by evening.
Modern Look
Metal gives a clean, modern industrial aesthetic that a lot of homeowners prefer — especially for workshops, studios, and utility buildings.

Questions?
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a metal shed cost?
Metal sheds are priced similarly to our wood sheds but typically cost less since metal siding and roofing are less expensive than LP SmartSide and architectural shingles. Pricing varies by size and options — contact us for a free custom quote.
What's the difference between your metal sheds and the ones at Home Depot?
Everything. Our metal sheds are real structures with wood-framed walls, Advantech subflooring, and 26-gauge metal panels. The metal sheds at Home Depot or Lowe's are thin sheet metal boxes with no real frame, no floor, and a lifespan of maybe 5–10 years before they rust, dent, and leak. Ours last 25+ years and are built to the same standard as our wood sheds.
Are your metal sheds built with the same framing as your wood sheds?
Yes — identical construction. Same wood framing, same Advantech subflooring, same structural quality. The only difference is what goes on the outside: metal siding and a metal roof instead of LP SmartSide siding and shingles.
Can I get a metal roof on a wood-sided shed (or vice versa)?
Absolutely. You can mix and match — metal roof with LP SmartSide siding, or metal siding with shingled roof. It's your shed. We build it however you want it.
How long does it take to build a metal shed?
Most metal sheds are built on-site in a single day, just like our wood sheds. Larger or more complex builds may take two days. We show up with all materials and you're using your shed by the end of the day.
What colors are available?
We offer a range of metal panel colors including gray, black, white, red, green, brown, and more. Wainscoting (two-tone) options are available where the bottom section is one color and the upper section is another. We can help you choose colors that match your home.
Can I finish out the inside of a metal shed?
Yes. Because the frame is real wood construction, adding insulation, interior plywood or drywall, electrical, and climate control works exactly the same as with our wood sheds. This is how we turn metal sheds into finished workshops, studios, gyms, and more.
Do I need a permit for a metal shed?
Permit requirements vary by city. In Indianapolis, structures over 120 sq ft generally require a permit. Many of our smaller sheds fall under that threshold. For larger builds, we handle the permit process for you — permit fees are paid directly by the homeowner, and we take care of all the paperwork and submissions.
